Free, all-day celebration of music, community set for Saturday
Staff reports
The Music Festival of the Lowcountry is proud to announce its highly anticipated return for 2026, bringing a full day of non-stop live music to Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in Beaufort.
The free festival will take place from 1 to 10 p.m., Saturday, June 6, and promises an unforgettable experience for music lovers of all ages.
Now in its third year, the festival continues to grow as a signature Lowcountry event, featuring two stages of continuous performances that showcase a diverse lineup of talent from across genres and backgrounds. This year’s headliners include Creedence Revived, a world premiere tribute band; Campfire Tyler, a beloved local sensation; and Lloyd Diamond performing as James Brown, delivering an electrifying tribute to the Godfather of Soul.
In addition to headliners, festivalgoers can enjoy a rich variety of musical styles, including mariachi, rock, southern rock, country, jazz, and more — staying true to the festival’s mission of inclusivity and artistic diversity.
From the very beginning, the vision for the Music Festival of the Lowcountry was bigger than any one genre or crowd. Organizers set out to build something that reflects the true spirit of the Lowcountry — a vibrant mix of styles, cultures, and stories. Over the years, festival stages have come alive with everything from bagpipes and drum lines to country, rock, jazz, pop, and alternative. Every set, every note, every performance weaves another thread into the fabric of the community.
Today, that same promise remains at the heart of the festival: to celebrate local talent, create shared experiences, and remain open and accessible to all. Thanks to generous donations and community partnerships, the festival continues to be completely free to attend, while offering professional sound, staging, and lighting across two dynamic performance stages.
Beyond the music, attendees can enjoy a selection of local food vendors, including Mother Smoking BBQ, Sassy Sweets, Palmetto Popcorn, Food Savvy, and more; bringing the flavors of the Lowcountry to life alongside the sounds.
