Tim Wood

I often wonder if other folks are feeling nervous, edgy, overly cautious, even distrustful, as I do these days. After all, this insanity within these so-called news cycles have never, as far as my history knowledge goes, ever been so emotional draining since, say, 1930 through the 70’s. Especially since the resurrected dead-horse of “Communism” is again now among us for people to beat upon.

You know, sometimes I forget how accustomed I’ve become to instantaneous, constant information. I use my phone mostly for research. Hardly anyone calls me, and I can block out whatever I don’t like or want.

Brave new world? Not yet
I have no idea where my fascination with dystopian films and novels came from. I know it had something to do with survival of the fittest, thinking I would be a survivor in any type of dystopia. Not so much now, as an old man, but back when I was young and strong and liked to fight.
