5 Beaufort soccer teams playing on Championship Saturday

Five high school soccer teams from Beaufort will play for state titles on Saturday in Columbia, with the boys and girls teams from Beaufort Academy and Holy Trinity joining the Beaufort High boys in punching their tickets to the state finals — and at least one of them is guaranteed to bring home a championship.
The Holy Trinity boys will kick off a quadrupleheader at 10:30 a.m. when they take on Charleston Collegiate at Hammond School for the SCISA 1A title, followed by the Mighty Lions facing crosstown rival BA in the SCISA 1A/2A girls final at 1 p.m. The BA boys face Greenwood Christian in the SCISA 2A final at 3:30 p.m., and Beaufort High takes on Daniel in the SCHSL Class 3A championship at 8 p.m. at Irmo High School.
