Fillin Station fight results in Attempted Murder charge for St. Helena man

A fight on Wednesday afternoon, April 17, on Lady’s Island resulted in a man being charged with Attempted Murder.

At around 3:17 p.m., Beaufort Police officers responded to a disturbance at 57 Sea Island Parkway, The Fillin’ Station. There was a “fight in progress” in the parking lot of the business, and according to police, one participant pulled a gun.

Police blocked the westbound lane of Sea Island Parkway for roughly 20 minutes while investigating the incident. Ultimately, Roger Lee Jerod Warren, 42, of St. Helena Island, was arrested and charged with Malicious Injury To Personal Property and Attempted Murder.

Warren was detained in the Beaufort County Detention Center and released on bond Thursday afternoon.
