Waylon Thibideaux and the Day Walkers from New Orleans, La., kicked off the Spring season of Port Royal’s Street Music Concert Series on Saturday evening on Paris Avenue. The weather was near perfect as children began dancing to the Zydeco music. The next free, family friendly concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, featuring Memphissippi Sounds playing their own blend of “Mississippi Hill Blues,” rock, soul and Hip Hop.
