BCSO’s Baxley to speak at August LIBPA Meeting

Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Col. Neil Baxley, who serves as Commander of the Emergency Management Division, will be the featured speaker when the Lady’s Island Business & Professional Association meets at 8 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, at the Beaufort Realtors’ Association Headquarters at 22 Kemmerlin Lane on Lady’s Island.

Col. Baxley will discuss hurricane preparation. The public is invited to stop by for coffee and conversation concerning the community.

Beaufort County Councilman David Bartholomew (District 2) was the featured speaker at the July 14 Lady’s Island Business and Professional Association (LIBPA) meeting. Bartholomew is on Beaufort County Council and has served since 2023. He also Chairs the Community Services and Land Use Committee and serves as vice chair of the Public Facilities and Safety Committee. Asa Aarons Smith/The Island News
