According to a media release, Beaufort County’s consultant, McSweeney Engineers, LLC, will be conducting inspections of several bridges on the Spanish Moss Trail this week.
Inspections will begin Tuesday, March 10, and will be conducted through Friday, March 13. Vehicles and equipment will be at bridge locations including Albergotti, McCalley’s and Battery Creek, according to the release, and the public is asked to use caution while in the area.
All locations will remain open while the inspection occurs, but the public should expect to see equipment and personnel on or near each location. Sections of each location may need to be closed temporarily while inspections are occurring.
