Description of Event:  Join other local scrapbookers to create an album recording the history of the St. Helena Branch Library. Supplies provided, but feel free to bring any additional tools. Program is intended for adult scrapbookers.

History Book Club

Description of Event:  For our first informal discussion, we have Amity Shlaes’ “The Forgotten Man,” both a narrative and interpretive history of the depression of the 1930s, but from a startlingly different point of view than has been taken by most historians. Join us to share your thoughts as we consider whether there are parallels between the 1930s and our economic situation today. Discussion will be led by Dr. Bruce Smith.
