Saint Helena Island – Sheriff’s Office Investigating Armed Robbery

(March 14, 2012/9:45 AM) – The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that reportedly occurred late last night on St. Helena.

Just after midnight, Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area 863 Sea Island Pkwy in reference to a robbery that occurred an hour earlier on Eddie Holmes Ct. Upon arrival, deputies met with a 51-year old male victim who advised he had been robbed at knifepoint by two unknown black males.

The victim advised was walking on Seaside Rd near Eddie Holmes Ct at approximately 11:00 pm when he was approached by two black males in a green sedan. The victim then walked to the Sea Island Pkwy address where he contacted law enforcement. Few details regarding descriptions of his attacker were available, as the victim appeared to be grossly intoxicated at the time the incident was reported.
