Plums Restaurant will host a benefit day for the American Cancer Society “Day of Hope,” Monday, August 27, from 11 a.m. to close. The restaurants will donate 10 percent of the day’s proceeds. “Many of us have been affected by cancer in one way or another,” owner Lantz Price stated. “We believe in giving back to our community and being involved in a big way and plan to do all we can to do our part in the fight against cancer.” For more information, visit www.plumsrestaurant.com or contact the American Cancer Society at 843-757-7450.
