Megan Morris, formerly the Beaufort Regional Chamber’s Director of Member Services, was recently promoted to Vice President. In her new role, Morris is responsible for overseeing the Chamber’s operational functions, communications and marketing in addition to signature events and member programs.

“Megan doesn’t miss an opportunity to make things better,” Chamber President Ian Scott said in an email to members. “That’s true of her work inside our organization and of her volunteer roles across our community.”

He added, “Since Megan joined the Chamber’s team last August, the organization has made incredible strides in the ways we serve members and conduct business. Her promotion is a reflection of the responsibilities she has already assumed and the dedication she brings to work every day. I’m proud to call her a colleague.”

Morris is a native Beaufortonian and a University of South Carolina graduate. Before joining the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce, she was executive director of the Santa Elena Foundation. Before that, she held marketing roles for Beaufort Memorial Hospital and the Beaufort County School District.

She is married to “Tank” Morris, a training officer for the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. They have two children.
