Adam Todd Saeed, 23, of Roswell, Ga., was killed Sunday night on Lady’s Island as a result of apparent gunshot wounds, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
Two other adults were wounded in the shooting – one was treated and released from Beaufort Memorial Hospital, and as of press time, the other is in stable condition but remains hospitalized.
At around 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 28, deputies responded to a report of multiple gunshot victims at a residence on Stevic Court. There they found Saeed and the two surviving victims.
The shooter or shooters had fled the scene prior to the arrival of deputies. According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, there does not appear to be a threat to the general public.
Sheriff’s Office investigators and the Crime Scene Unit interviewed witnesses and processed the scene for forensic evidence. As of press time, a forensic autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday, March 2 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
