Paul Nurnberg chosen to lead ASMP chapter

The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) South Carolina chapter has elected Paul Nurnberg as president. Paul will serve a two year term that began January of 2013.

“I feel honored to have been elected by this group of highly respected peers. As president, I look forward to continuing bringing in high quality speakers and educators for our State wide meeting programs that will further the career development of our professional and student members.”

Paul, a Savannah and Beaufort based photographer, specializes in architectural and lifestyle advertising photography. He also photographs a variety of other subjects including people, products, food, nature and travel. Paul has been a professional photographer for more than 20 years, after graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is equally at home in the studio or on location.

Nurnberg has previously served as the vice-president and as a board member for several years.

Over 7,000 strong with 39 chapters throughout the country, ASMP is the premier trade association for imaging professionals, providing members with all the tools, information and support needed to run successful businesses.
