Whitehall discussion postponed again

For the second time in recent months, discussions on the latest plan to develop the Whitehall property have been postponed.

Plans were withdrawn from the agenda by the developer at the last minute for the Monday, June 15 Beaufort – Town of Port Royal Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) meeting, members said.

The developer pulled the item from the agenda for last month’s meeting as well, citing a desire to give the public an opportunity to weigh in, in person, if possible.

For the last few months, municipal meetings have been held virtually due to the coronavirus.
