Thousands of volunteer hours, starting more than 10 months ago, have produced the 25th annual Festival of Trees, to be held next week at the Charles Lind Brown Activity Center, 1001 Hamar St. Scores of volunteers have solicited tree sponsors,
made gourmet treats and donated gifts, trimmed trees and performed hundreds of tasks to ensure the success of this glittering event. Trees are decorated in a myriad of styles, ranging from whimsical to traditional, scent-sational to patriotic. The Festival’s Opening Night Gala is Monday, Dec. 3 from 6 – 9 p.m. The kick-off event is the Jingle Jog (5K run, 1 Mile walk/run) Saturday, Dec. 1, at 8:30 a.m. at the Port Royal Farmers Market.
