To the parents of special needs students

All parents of special needs students are invited to attend an upcoming workshop to be held Setember 5, 2013 at Robert Smalls Middle School, Room J-1 from 6pm-8pm.  Transitioning Into Special Education will benefit families with students entering into special education for the first time and parents of students who currently have an IEP.

Topics of discussion will be:
•   Transitioning from Early Intervention to Special Education
•   Parent’s Role in the Process
•   IEP-What is it and how do we write one?

The workshop is sponsored by Beaufort County School Parent/Community REACH Center  and presented by Parents Reaching Out to Parents of South Carolina (PRO-Parents). All participants will be provided a (2) hour certificate of attendance. Please call to register at 1-800-759-4776 or 803-772-5688.
