The Indie Film Corner: ‘Don’t Stop Believin’

“Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey” will be showing at USCB Center For the Arts on Monday, June 24  at 7 p.m. The movie, directed by Ramona S. Diaz, is 1 hour and 45 minutes long and is in English and Tagalog with English subtitles.

“Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey” follows the real life rock ‘n’ roll fairy tale of Filipino Arnel Pineda, who was plucked from YouTube to become the front man for iconic American rock band Journey. In this Cinderella story for the ages, Arnel, having overcome a lifetime’s worth of hardships, must now navigate the immense pressures of replacing a legendary singer and leading a world-renowned band on their most extensive world tour in years. New York Magazine calls the film, “One of the most remarkable rock stories of recent years.”

Tickets for adults are $7, seniors $6, students $5. Call USCB Center for the Arts box office at 843-521-4145 or purchase day of performance. Box office opens one hour prior to show time.
