The Stephen Elliott Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy met recently and introduced this year’s chapter scholarship award winner, Haley Sutcliffe. Miss. Sutcliffe is the daughter of Mrs. Tonya Sutcliffe, granddaughter of Mrs. Lanie Sutcliffe and great-granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Degler, all of St. Helena Island. Miss Sutcliffe is currently attending USCB.
