SEABROOK, SC – The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a
shooting incident that occurred outside a Seabrook home earlier this afternoon.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Fawnwood Ln just before 2 pm today in reference to a reported gunshot victim. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a 23-year old male victim who was transported to Beaufort Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
At this time, few details are available of the events leading up to and including the shooting. The only information available from witnesses involved two possible black male suspects seen fleeing the scene in a white Chevy Tahoe.
The victim’s identity remains undisclosed pending notification of next of kin. Further details will be released as they become available.
