Beaufort Academy hosted its annual fundraiser Saturday night, March 16, at Q on Bay. The Shamrock Shakedown was an overwhelming success. Rebecca Bass, Beaufort Academy’s Director of Development, echoed alumni and parents’ enthusiasm. “The Shamrock Shakedown exceeded our expectations. We broke every fundraising record we’ve ever had,” she said. The St. Patrick’s Day-themed party raised money to incorporate more innovative technology in the school’s curriculum to help prepare students for college and for life. Money was raised through ticket sales, a popular silent auction and sponsorships. “This party would not have been possible without the help of all of our incredible sponsors. On behalf of Beaufort Academy, thank you,” says Bass.
