Ready to swim the Beaufort River

The Wardle Family YMCA held the 8th Annual Beaufort River Swim on Saturday, May 31, at 8 a.m. The three-mile open water swim started at the Port Royal Landing Marina and finished at the boat ramp at the corner of the Downtown Marina, adjacent to the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. More than 130 swimmers entered this year’s race, which raises money for the Y’s Learn-to-Swim programs and water safety classes. Photos by Captured Moments Photography.
