Paraffin is an adult American Shorthair, he was found as a stray. He was covered in wax and we removed it but he has some hair missing that will grow back in. Sweet cat that deserves a second chance. Citizens who visit the Beaufort County Animal Shelter and Control to turn in an animal or look for a lost pet may do so anytime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Those who wish to adopt an animal must do so between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The shelter is closed on Sunday. The facility is located at 23 Shelter Church Road off US 21, north of the Marine Corps Air Station. For more information, call (843) 255-5010.
