Beaufort High girls lacrosse rallied from a halftime deficit for a hard-fought 10-8 home win over James Island on Monday.

Amyah Todd and Sophia Pellegrino each scored four goals, and Todd assisted on another and gathered a team-high 12 ground balls, while Holland Perryman and Annabelle Hooper added a goal each for the Eagles.

Sydney Lashley scooped up seven ground balls, and Pellegrino, Abby Baise, and Kellina Snipes gathered six each for Beaufort, but the defensive star was goalie Shelby Holstein, who saved 15 of 23 shots on goal to preserve the narrow margin.
