Lady’s Island’s Factory Creek Fish Company is being sold to Port Royal, South Carolina‘s Dockside Restaurant, and will reopen as a 2nd Dockside location around the first of March. FC2 owners Tommy & Mary Winburn will concentrate on keeping their Emily’s Restaurant the downtown icon it has become. Owner Mary Winburn said of the impending sale, “The Winburns made a family and business decision to sell Factory Creek Fish Company. Emily’s Restaurant is our ‘baby’, and it’s time to put some efforts into maintaining this awesome establishment. We are so incredibly lucky that Emily’s is one of the most established restaurants in Beaufort. We’ve found out that it will take lots of efforts to maintain Emily’s great reputation. Wish us luck as we sink our teeth into upgrading and improving Emily’s!”
