Wright said his car has a supercharged V-6 and “only” generates 800 horsepower while Metz’s has a supercharged V-8 generating 1,000 horsepower. Sunday morning’s bad weather kept most of the classic car enthusiasts away. Several cars were to come as far aways as Atlanta, Ga. and Colunmbia, S.C., according to Joshua Henson, president of Kaotic Obsessive car club. “Many of those old cars have a lot of wood in the finish and most of the cars have paint jobs ranging in the thousands of dollars”, Henson said. “Hopefully more will show up later when they see how beautifull the day turned out”, he said.
