The Ridgeland family said they come to the beach often ride their horses. South Beach is open for equestrian activity from December through February.

Emma Jo Alexander, 6, doesn’t seem to have any issues handling Cora, a full grown Quarter Horse, on Sunday at Hunting Island State Park. Bringing up the rear is Emma Jo’s father, Dave. The Alexander family from Ridgeland bring thier horse to Hunting Island State Park often which is allowed from December through February.
