Free health screenings offered July 21
Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Med-I-Assist program along with SC DHEC, AccessHealth Lowcountry, and Beaufort Memorial Hospital will be providing free health screenings for men and women in need of one or more of the following screenings: prostate, glucose (sugar), hypertension, and/or cholesterol. Welvista Prescription Assistance and the Lowcountry Food Bank “Pop Up Grocery Store Tour” also will be available.
The screenings will be done on Saturday, July 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at New Hope Christian Church, 67 Parris Island Gateway, Burton.
