OBITUARY
Garcha Avtar Singh, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on April 8, 2025. He is survived by children, grandchildren, and many friends from around the world. Born in India, he grew up in East Africa and studied in Israel and Kent State University where he was employed in a variety of positions. He helped numerous students from all over the world when they came to study at Kent State University. A memorial service is planned for June 11 at 2:00PM.
