Beaufort Academy’s Keiley Good, in blue, easily moves the ball against Colleton Prep’s defense Monday afternoon at BA’s Merritt Field. Good scored seven of Beaufort Academy’s 10 goals and assisted on another in a 10-0 win over Colleton Prep on Monday. After leading the Eagles to the SCISA 2A state championship a year ago as an eighth-grader, Good has scored a team-best 27 goals in just eight games in her freshman campaign. BA (4-4) has three matches this week and two next week, including a pivotal rematch with crosstown rival Holy Trinity, which defeated the Eagles on March 5 to avenge their loss in last season’s state finals.
