The event, sponsored by The Island News, was an opportunity for local women to meet, network and have fun. A big thanks to Irene Goodnight for organizing and being the MC at the event. And also much thanks to Bella Luna for opening up their restaurant and providing appetizers and a friendly atmosphere for all the guests.

Irene gave out more than 15 door prizes. Here are some of the women and the items they won: Julie Cowles, Reiki session; Diane Valkenburg, evening bag; Cynthia Stewart, Lands End Tour; Martha Cooper-Hudson, item from The Clothes Line; Karen Burke, Avon products; Arlene Peck, Mary Kay products; Barbara Handbury, Organika Salon; Susan Dickson, Reiki session; Nancy Navarro,
