Donors can help USC Beaufort’s Center for the Arts ‘fill the house’

From staff reports

In addition to its annual Donor Campaign, USC Beaufort’s Center For The Arts has come up with a fun way to “fill the house” upon its re-opening.

The CFA is “inviting” an interesting cast of characters to occupy its empty seats. These delightful theatre enthusiasts will assist in marking seats reserved for social distancing and providing a lovely diverse audience – a “full-er” house – and a fun art exhibit.

Quantities are limited and the cost is $300 for a single character or $500 for a pair.

Donors may request the genders and provide a general description of their patrons (hair style, hair/skin color, eye color) or they may choose to allow the artist to be creative. (There may even be a Picasso in the audience).

Audience members may be children or adults and may be given in honor or in memory of someone special. Donor’s name or names, unless otherwise requested, will be included on the “patrons.”

The CFA will be calling on various local artists to paint and decorate the new audience members. If donors would like to try their own hand at it, or if they have a friend they would like to use, they may pick up blank forms from the CFA.

Register at USCBcenterforthearts.com. Once the form is completed, the patron will be automatically sent to Vendini for payment.

Donors may pay online and email their patrons’ information (Donor’s name along with patron or patrons’ name, gender, age bracket, skin tone and hair style … or choose a surprise … or pick up a blank) to defurman@uscb.edu. To pick up blanks, call 843-
