Dalrymple to play in SCISA All-Star Game

Beaufort Academy running back and linebacker Cody Dalrymple will play for the South squad in the SCISA North-South All-Star Game on Friday at Heathwood Hall in Columbia.

Also in the game will be defensive back Mark Knight and linebacker Michael Carbone from John Paul II.

A six pack of stars from four-time SCISA 1A champion Thomas Heyward highlight the South roster with standout linebacker Brandon Howard leading the charge. He is joined by offensive linemen Symir Mitchell and Max Hickey, receiver and defensive back Cody Parker, defensive back and kick returner James Townsend, and versatile athlete Jordan Mikell.

The South team will be coached by John Paul II’s Chris Myers. Thomas Heyward defensive coordinator Michael Heath and assistant Justin Stuckey are on the South coaching staff along with JPII assistants Luke Guess and Josh Craven.

The game kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday at Heathwood Hall.
