Cross School students are ready for summer!

As the end of the school year quickly approaches, children in schools all over the County anticipate the beloved summer break. The first and second graders at Cross Schools in Bluffton are looking forward to the joys of summer too and shared with The Bluffton News what they are most excited about.

“I get to go in the pool. My dad gets in the pool too and he helps me learn how to dive,” Sydney Hollings (7) said very proudly.

“I’m going on a safari with my dad in Africa. It is my fourth time going,” said Max Homann (8).

“I like going to the beach and to the pool. I build sandcastles at the beach. I like to go down the slide at the pool and do cannon balls!” said Maggie Drury (8).

“I’m going to Chicago. I really want to go to Chicago because my cousin is getting married and I got my first high heels. And I’m going on a plane!” exclaimed Madison Lewis (8).
