Eisenman said, “I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the Finance Department and look forward to continuing the financial excellence that the City has experienced over the years.”

Before coming to the City, Eisenman worked for Beaufort County for several years as a financial supervisor. He is licensed as a certified government finance officer through the South Carolina GFOA. He graduated from Leadership Beaufort in 2018, and is a member of the Lowcountry Jaycees.
Kathy Todd, who is retiring, has been finance director for the City since 2010. “The City has made a great decision in choosing Alan as my successor,” she said. “As I take the next steps in life’s journey, the City will be in good hands.”
