Barbers of the Lowcountry opens Beaufort location

Barbers of the Lowcountry has opened its second location in the Lowcountry. The barbershop is at Suite 112 in the Beaufort Town Center on Boundary Street.

The shop offers a customer friendly style of hair-cutting and men’s grooming services.

The shop’s hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. Appointments are available online or by phone and walk-ins are accepted.

Collins Group’s Sanders earns designation from national realtor’s association

Chris Sanders, a client market advisor for Collins Group Realty, has earned the Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) designation from the National Association of Realtors.

The PSA certification is specifically designed to enhance a licensed realtor’s skills in pricing properties, working with appraisers and guiding clients.

Sanders began his real estate career on Hilton Head Island as a residential real estate appraiser more than 20 years ago. For the past seven years, he has been a licensed real estate broker for Collins Group Realty.

Epps joins Chris Hervochon CPA firm

Jaroslava Epps has joined Chris Hervochon accounting firm as a staff accountant. Epps will provide outsourced accounting and tax preparation services for small businesses and individuals.

Before joining the firm, Epps spent six years in public accounting concentrating on helping small businesses.

She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and holds an MBA from Georgia Southern University. She is currently working toward obtaining her CPA license.

Epps is a community volunteer and has served as treasurer for the Old Town Bluffton Merchant Society.

Collins Group Realty adds two to team

Collins Group Realty has hired Sara Loveys, a licensed South Carolina real estate agent, and Lori Martin, client concierge.

Born and raised in Rochester, N.Y., Loveys was a partner in a real estate firm in New York before moving to South Carolina. Loveys will assist clients in the company’s Bluffton office.

Martin, a Lowcountry local for 35 years, will serve as a liaison for Collins Group Realty’s clients. She has worked in healthcare recruiting for the last 23 years, and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Business Administration.
