Breakwater Patrons, Fear Not!

If you have any family or friends in the Upstate of South Carolina you need to give them a heads up. There’s something new and exciting coming to downtown Greenville. The crew at Beakwater is expanding to the other end of the state!

“Gary, Beth and I have always wanted another restaurant, we just hadn’t found the right location.  Until
we paid a visit to Greenville last year.  We fell in love with their downtown and felt like it would be a great
fit with our concept.  We secured a location in July and have been busy working on the plans with an anticipated
October opening,” says Donna Lang, one of the Breakwater owners.

Beth has made the decision to move to Greenville and man the project up there.  Gary and Donna will be spending some time in Greenville (especially in the beginning) but have no plans to relocate to Greenville.  Their hearts live Beaufort, and that is where they will stay. Gary will remain the executive chef in Beaufort and Donna will continue to run the front of the house.

The crew is also pleased to welcome Ryan Blanton to the Breakwater team.  Ryan comes to Breakwater with a great culinary background and will be the executive chef, along with Gary, and will have ownership in the company.

So fear not, loyal Beaufortonians, Breakwater is here to stay. It’s just growing a bit. Many congratulations on the expansion!
