The Books Sandwiched In Series continues Monday, Feb. 4, with “The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America’s Great Migration” by Isabella Wilkerson. The book will be reviewed by Reverend James E. Moore. Moore is a retired sergeant major who spent 27 years with the Marine Corps and once served as a drill sergeant at Recruit Depot Parris Island. He is presently pastor at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Dale. The event, sponsored by Friends of the Library, will be at noon at the USCB Performing Arts Center, 801 Carteret St. Bring your lunch or purchase it at Outtakes Cafe.
