Beaufort Memorial seeks community input on local health needs

Beaufort Memorial Hospital (BMH) is currently conducting a community health needs assessment and is asking for participation by residents of Beaufort, Jasper, and Hampton counties who are over age 15.

Participating residents can complete a short, confidential survey available online at BeaufortMemorial.org/CommunityNeeds. (A Spanish language version of the survey is available at BeaufortMemorial.org/NecesidadesDeLaComunidad.)

Surveys should be completed by Feb. 28.

“You will need just 10 minutes to complete the questionnaire,” said Laurie Martin, associate vice president of operations. “The time you invest today may help us identify services that will add years to someone’s life tomorrow.”

As a not-for-profit community hospital, Beaufort Memorial regularly conducts assessments to better understand the health of the community and to help the hospital develop programs that address identified health needs and improve residents’ health and wellness.
