Beaufort County reports 7th coronavirus death, no new cases

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) on Monday announced 127 new cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, and five additional deaths, including one in Beaufort County.

This brings the total number of people confirmed to have COVID-19 in South Carolina to 3,439, and those who have died to 87.

There were no new Beaufort County cases reported. There have been 194 confirmed cases in Beaufort County so far. The death, the seventh in the county was an elderly individual with underlying health conditions.
