Beaufort area volunteers Walk For Water

Davis Baxley, an 11-year-old 5th Grader from Beaufort, took part in the Walk for Water on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025. Davis says he attended the event “because a lot of places don’t have water.” He went on to say he “also wanted to be there to support his church and places with no water, and to have a blast and also encourage people.” Volunteers took to the streets of Port Royal on Saturday, Sept. 13, for Beaufort County Walk For Water — a 3-mile walk to raise awareness and money for access to safe, clean water in communities around the world through Water Mission.
