BCSO seeks information in connection to 2 Saint Helena Island shootings

Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office are asking for information in connection to two separate shooting incidents that occurred on Monday, March 3, 2025, and Tuesday, March 4, 2025, according to a news release.

At about 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2025, the Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a report of shots fired on Saxonville Road on Saint Helena Island. When deputies arrived, they found a home had been shot at multiple times.

Through the investigation, deputies learned a 32-year-old male victim had arrived at an area hospital suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was inside the home at the time the shots were fired from the road. He was treated and released.

Then at about 1:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2025, the Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a report of shots fired, this time on Martin and Phoebe Way on Saint Helena Island. Deputies found a home had been shot at from the road. Also, another home in the area on Luther Warren Drive, received damage from gunfire. No injuries were reported in these incidents.
