BA Blue & White Classic

The inaugural Blue & White Classic Junior Tournament, held on Saturday, Nov. 2, attracted 31 golfers and was a huge success. The tournament was held at The Sanctuary Golf Club at Cat Island. Thank you to everyone who participated.

Here are the Junior Tournament Awards:

• First place: Seventh-grader Joe Stowe and Ben Gecy.

• Second place: Sixth-grader Thomas Holladay and Rob Simmons.

• Closest to the Pin: Seventh-grader Herbert Gray and sixth-grader Thomas Holladay.

• Longest Drive: Eighth-grader John Manos

• Putting Contest: Sixth-grader William Tumlin.

The Blue & White Classic Golf Tournament, held on Saturday, Nov. 9, attracted more than 90 golfers and, in conjunction with the barbeque dinner and auction, raised nearly $30,000 for the Blue & White Athletic Booster Club at Beaufort Academy.  This tournament was also held at The Sanctuary Golf Club at Cat Island.
