Area Tri-Command honors Asian-Pacific Heritage Month


On Friday, May 20, the Tri-Command Marine Corps Recruitment Depot-Parris Island, Marine Corps Air Station, and the Naval Hospital of Beaufort will celebrate Asian-Pacific Heritage Month. The guest speaker will be University of South Carolina Beaufort’s Dr. Babet Villena-Alvarez who will be talking about Asian-Pacific Islander values and how these values help cement and solidify the varied mosaic that comprises the multicultural melting pot of the U.S. Dinner and show for $15. Children under 7 are free.
