FWDG (Furniture Warehouse Design Gallery) has donated $5,000 to schools and teachers of Beaufort and Jasper counties as part of its annual Restock My Classroom giveaway event.
Members of the community were invited to nominate outstanding local schools and teachers who go above and beyond for their students. Five teachers received $500 worth of supplies, while one local school received a $2,500 donation presented to its principal for school-wide needs.
Each year, teachers spend hundreds — often thousands — of dollars out of their own pockets to provide classroom essentials, educational materials, and enriching experiences for their students. From books and art supplies to flexible seating and science equipment, these purchases help create environments where children can thrive.
Through the Restock My Classroom Giveaway, FWDG hopes to ease some of that financial burden while recognizing the incredible dedication of educators who work to make a difference every day.
