If the TV show “Criminal Minds” fascinates you, then you’ll be enthralled hearing Beaufort’s own former FBI profiler Gene Rugala when he shares stories from the front lines on Monday, March 26, 11:30-1:30 at Sweet grass restaurant, 100 Marina Drive, Dataw Island.
Mr. Rugala worked in the unit made famous by the book and movie “The Silence of the Lambs”. He specializes in the behavioral analysis of violent crimes to include homicide, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
This event benefits local survivors of domestic violence and their children who receive shelter and support through CODA (Citizens Opposed to Domestic Abuse). The cost is $30 and includes a box lunch, tea, water and cash bar.
