The nonprofit Pat Conroy Literary Center will host a Children’s Book Fair featuring a dozen local children’s book authors and artists as part of the Coastal Discovery Museum’s annual Family Fun Day. Meet them from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 10 under the pavilion at Honey Horn (70 Honey Horn Dr., Hilton Head Island). Attendance is free and open to the public.
Books by participating authors will be available for sale and signing. The Storybook Shoppe (www.thestorybookshoppe.com) from Bluffton will also be on hand with a selection of other local and bestselling children’s books.
The Conroy Center will have a selection of additional gift shop items for sale, as well as a preview of the Camp Conroy 2021 anthology, Free to Be.

Susan Diamond Riley, author of The Sea Island’s Secret and The Sea Turtle’s Curse;
Lisa Anne Cullen, author and artist of Little Orange Honey Hood and Three Wild Pigs;

Ann Lilly, author of Scoot’s New Home and Scoot’s Savannah Rescue;
