The Beaufort County Library congratulates the winners of its 2001 Bookmark Contest.
The four winning designs will be available as bookmarks at library locations during the Summer Reading Program.
The library staff thanks all the participants who submitted their artwork and is thrilled by the great turnout – more than 1,000 entries – and enjoyed reviewing each entry.
Individual winners
Tiny Tails (ages 5 to 8): Liam Ungvarsky, Age 8
Junior Tails (ages 9 to 12): Sharlene Mosqueira, Age 12
Teen Tales (ages 13 to 17): Emely L. Masis, Age 15
Tall Tales (ages 18 and older): Irene Baumfalk, Age 81
