60 Minutes to air piece about Beaufort County book bans on Sunday

CBS News 60 Minutes will air a segment on Sunday on the attempt to remove 97 books from Beaufort County School District (BCSD) libraries.

The piece, reported by correspondent Scott Pelley, follows the process taken by BCSD of reviewing 97 books that were challenged for appropriateness of content in October 2022 and removed from libraries.

The segment will air on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 7 p.m. EST on the CBS Television Network.

There will also be an online piece at 60 Minutes Overtime.
