Something akin to a scarecrow stands guard at the Carteret Street United Methodist Church’s Pumpkin Patch on Saturday. Hundreds of pumpkins and gourds of all sizes and colors are available, and proceeds help the church’s youth group. The Pumpkins are available 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday throughout the month of October. Photo by Bob Sofaly.
