This year, 49 USC Beaufort students living in the Beaufort campus residence halls and 25 students living on the Bluffton campus received the university’s 1795 Scholarship, funded by local businessman Dick Stewart and 303 Associates of Beaufort. The scholarship is worth $1,000 per semester to help with the cost of housing.
